Sunday School

Come Join in the Fun at Sunday School as we Grow in Christ!

Sunday School is a perfect opportunity for your child to build the foundations of their faith, explore the stories of the Bible, and grow in their own personal relationship with the Lord.  During class, we dive into the stories and lessons within the Bible in fun and interactive ways through activities, songs, and occasionally fun games.  Our churches each offer Sunday School during worship throughout the traditional school year (September through May).  However, if you wish for your child to remain in worship with you, we welcome them to remain in church throughout the service as that is also another way for them to grow and learn!

We encourage you to pick a Sunday School that will be right for your child, where they can get the best start in their life-long journey of loving and worshiping the Lord!  For more information on the Sunday School classes at each church, check out the information below!

Sunday School Opportunities

Liberty Pole Methodist Church

Our Liberty Pole church offers Sunday School for children from ages 4 through 18!  We offer two separate classes, one for elementary and one for junior high and high school students.  Classes are held during our Sunday worship service during the academic year (September through May).  We go to class just before the sermon (approximately 9:30 a.m.) and wrap up at the close of the worship service (10:15 a.m.).

Classes will resume this autumn, so make plans now to come join in the fun.  Everyone is invited to join in the learning and fun!

New Hope Methodist Church

Children of all ages are welcome to come downstairs to our fellowship hall during our Sunday morning services for a time of learning and fun!  We head downstairs just before the sermon (approximately 10:45 a.m.) and wrap up at the close of the worship service (11:30 a.m.).

The New Hope Methodist Church also offers a mid-week, after-school program known as Wednesday Warriors.  All children are welcome to come and take part in this program.  To learn more, head over to our Wednesday Warriors page.

Retreat Methodist Church

Held during our 8 a.m. Sunday morning worship service, the Sunday School program at the Retreat Methodist Church follows a One-Room School model bringing together children of all ages.  Lessons are pulled from the Bible and often reflect the scripture and sermon from the service.  This way the children and adults can talk about what they learned at home as a family.  We head off to class just before the start of the sermon (roughly 8:15 a.m.) and end around 9:00 a.m.  Children of all ages are welcome to come and take part in the fun and learning.

Classes will resume this autumn, so make plans now to come join in the fun.  Everyone is invited to come and participate!
