United Methodist Women
Faith - Hope - Love In Action
Our churches are fortunate to have two active United Methodist Women (UMW) groups that passionately serve God and the local community in addition to pledging financial support to worldwide mission projects. We encourage you to come to one of our monthly meetings and learn more about who we are and what we do!
Liberty Pole UMW
Meets the Second Wednesday of each month

Meets the Second Thursday of each month

Our UMW groups are actively involved in local, state, and world missions. Within the church, the women work together to serve funeral dinners, visit shut-ins, provide a library for Christian education, furnish cookies for local blood drives and Sunday morning worship, host a Bingo party at Parkview Manor in Viroqua, and help with many other activities throughout the year.
What is United Methodist Women?
United Methodist Women - Striving for a Better World
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with nearly 800,000 members worldwide. Our mission is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice locally and around the world. We are committed to growing in disciples of Jesus Christ in community with other women and seek to build the lives of women, children, and youth.
As a community of women committed to mission, we support local, national, and international projects through prayers, volunteer and advocacy efforts, and financial gifts. We also support one another through prayer, Bible studies, and retreats enabling us to grow stronger spiritually.
