Vacation Bible School
At various times each summer, our churches host Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs to introduce our area children to Jesus Christ and help them grow in a relationship with Him. Each VBS program generally has a different theme to make the experience inviting and fun for the youth. Last year, we had unique and fun opportunities for area children to grow in their faith through Vacation Bible School. And the children had a blast! We welcome all children to join us again this year as we continue to grow in our faith!
Weird Animals VBS 2022 - July 26 - 29, 2022
Everyone (of all ages!) is invited to discover the one-of-a-kind love of Jesus at this year's Vacation Bible School! Weird Animals VBS will be held on July 26 - 29 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church. To learn more or to register for Weird Animals VBS, head over to our registration page!
This past summer, Viroqua and Westby UMC held a joint Family Campout Vacation Bible School. The theme was “The Miracles of Jesus”. Parents, children, grandparents and friends participated in an evening of fun. There were hands-on activities at each of the stations, which centered around one of the miracles that Jesus performed. The miracles we discussed were:
♦ Walking on water
♦ Calming the storm
♦ Healing the sick
♦ Feeding the 5,000
♦ Turning water into wine
In addition to the hands-on activities, there was singing, games, a campfire dinner and making S’mores around the campfire. We look forward to next year’s VBS adventure.
